Is learning Tajweed obligatory?
Scholars state that reciting the Quran without clear mistakes that change the meaning is obligatory on every Muslim who recites. Learning the detailed rules is highly recommended so the recitation is correct and beautiful.
Can I learn Tajweed online if I already read the Quran?
Yes. Most of our Tajweed students already read. The teacher listens to your recitation, identifies your specific mistakes and trains you on the rules you need.
How long is the Tajweed course?
With 3–5 classes a week, most students complete the core rules in 4–6 months. Applying them fluently across the whole Quran takes regular practice after that.
